Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Perform clerical, analytical, administrative and other duties as required by the Materials Management functional group.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.


ü  Shall adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices, and ensures that all equipment is in safe operating condition and meets or exceeds OSHA Standards.


ü  Comply with all QMS / EMS procedures and work instructions as it pertains to the position description.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  1. Create and update spreadsheets and charts as required.
  2. Maintain MAPICS database.
  3. Create and maintain files for new part numbers.
  4. Track Engineering changes through the plants and engineering office
  5. Back up and assist with other Material Control responsibilities
  6. Perform cost rolls, review costing report and report to the leadership team when product cost is impacted more than 10 %.
  7. Create recall (queries) and MAPICS reports as required
  8. Work with Product Engineering Department on new program BOM’s.
  9. Create and maintain BOM’s as directed.
  10. Create and maintain REP schedules for outside processors.
  11. Interface with all plant and sales/engineering personnel as required.            
  12. Performs all other functions as required; included are any work assignments relating to the efficient flow of work within JAC Products Inc.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail

Job Requirements

PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Note:       Possession of a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required for all new hires in all positions. 

  • Associates Degree preferred

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 – 5 years of administrative and plant level operations
